Wharf Garden

The future home of the Wharf Garden is currently a wharf structure located at the northwestern foot of the Town of Kansas Pedestrian Bridge. Wharf Garden will operate as a complete container garden that is self-irrigated and off the grid. Sculptural plots and planters within the garden will be fabricated from recycled materials such as tires, bags, barrels, reclaimed wood and recycled metals.

The energy that is created in the garden will be used to power the electricity in "The Barn" and the irrigation system. Rain water will be collected into rain barrels and used to water the plants.

The Barn is a designated storage facility for mechanical and maintenance equipment as well as an information and education center.
