River Otter Day

River Otter Day is a community event hosted by the Port Authority. In conjunction with Missouri River Relief and Friends of the River (FOR-KC), this riverfront clean-up day is a volunteer opportunity to pick up litter along the Downtown Riverfront. Following the clean-up is a complimentary bar-b-que lunch and a live performance by a local band.

In the first three years of River Otter Day, over 21 tons of litter were removed from the Riverfront Environment, helping mother nature breathe a little bit easier.
