River Otter Day

March 20, 2010
Berkley Riverfront Park
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
River Otter Day is a community event hosted by the Port Authority. In conjunction with Missouri River Relief and Friends of the River (FOR-KC), this riverfront clean-up day is a volunteer opportunity to pick up litter along the Downtown Riverfront. Following the clean-up is a complimentary bar-b-que lunch, catered by Ameristar Casino and a live performance by a local band at the historic Wharf Master's Building.
In the first three years of River Otter Day, over 21 tons of litter were removed from the Riverfront Environment, helping mother nature breathe a little bit easier.
