NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri (“Authority”), in conjunction with the City of Kansas City, Missouri invites all qualified parties to submit proposals for the Front Street Roadway Improvements from Front Street/I-35/29 Interchange to Gage Viaduct.

The City will award a contract based on the lowest unit cost bid. The services requested are expected to commence as soon as the Missouri Department of Transportation affirms the apparent lowest unit cost bid with their Notice to Proceed.

All work related thereto shall be subject to MoDOT’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal of 15%. All DBE’s to be used on this project must be certified and contained in the MRCC DBE Directory at the time of bid opening.

Bid Packets and Plans/Specifications are available now at http://www.kcmoplanroom.org/CapitalProjectsOffice/ . Submissions will be due by 2:00 p.m., August 10, 2010 to City Hall and will be opened at that time.
